Linda Castillo is a New York Times bestselling author from America. She was born in Ohio and has been writing since she was thirteen years old. To date, she has written twenty-seven novels, many of which are thrillers, and has won several awards, including the Holt Medallion, the Daphne du Maurier Award of Excellence, and the Golden Heart award. She was also nominated for the prestigious RITA. Her most popular series is the Kate Burkholder series, the first novel of which was "Sworn to Silence". In addition to thrillers, she has written romantic and suspense novels. Her Amish thrillers are often featured on the New York Times bestseller list. When she is not writing, Linda enjoys riding horses and lives in Texas with her husband, two Appaloosa horses, a barn cat, and three dogs.
