Kevin Hearne, born in Arizona on December 9th 1970, is one of America’s most renowned urban fantasy authors. His passion for books about people with superhuman powers began at a young age, and he felt that readers should be provided with more information about the characters. One of the most memorable moments of his childhood was when his parents took him to see the first release of “Star Wars” in Phoenix, which further fuelled his interest in comic and fiction books. After graduating high school, Kevin Hearne enrolled at Northern Arizona University. During his time there, he took on roles as the editor of the college newspaper, as well as a columnist and cartoonist for the comic section. It was also during this time that he wrote his first novel, which was never published. This was the first of many novels he wrote that were never released.
